Blogging! What is it?

I want to start a blog. Great! What do I do? Where do I start?

I am pretty new to all this but I know I want to do it! this is why I’veĀ  started. In the book “Linchpin” by Seth Godin it says to “Start Blogging.” So I found WordPress.com and designed a simple page and here you are as the reader. As far as content goes since I have started right out of reading a book that I really enjoyed I find that the ideas for new content comes pretty quickly. I am actually impressed

SEE SETHS BLOG…

I think that staying curious and always learning is key to this.

What is Blogging?

Blogging is not writing. Wikipedia gives this definition “A blog (a truncation of the expression “weblog“)[1] is a discussion or informational website published on the World Wide Web consisting of discrete, often informal diary-style text entries (“posts”).”

If this is true you can write about what you want you don’t have to be specific. That probably wont be very profitable, unless you are really exciting like someone who travel’s a lot, like some of these peoples:

  1. Nomadic Matt
  2. The Poor Traveler
  3. Expert Vagabond
  4. Among Others

I am not a very interesting person (That is just me you are probably much more interesting than I am), so people like me have to talk about something that we love and that we know a lot about. I am reading about success and starting a businesses, and at the moment I love this topic and I want to write about that. This may change.

But I am not doing this for money, at the moment. I want to do this to be something that I love. A gift to the world something that is genuine.

If you want to be profitable, you attitude will need to a second job trying to drive traffic to your blog, to create revenue. Please check out this video:

have fun blogging.

Your’s truly

London Bridge Incident

This is crazy so much has happened in the last month, we have had the Manchester bombing attack, a killing on Westminster Abby and now this.

This is so scary, why is this happening all at once. I am so happy that we have a fast and reliable police service in London, but the fact we have had so many security attacks in the UK dose show the strain of the British security.

Dose anyone have any ideas? we cannot rely on the responce team to deal with the aftermath. These incedents show we clearly do not have the forces trained in the correct way and we need to put more in security and have checks of people who are a serious threat.

What This Could Mean!

This could mean that private infomation can be held by the forces that need them without our permission, I mean we would have to give or they would take any and all infomation relevent to our lives. This may seem like an invation of public privicy, which it is, but i think we should be honest and we should have nouthing to hide and those that do will be found out.

I mean any thing suspicious in a criminal nature made registered on a database only or the eyes of those who need to see.

If this was Implamented.

If this was implamented we would need to have access to our personal data, but total restriction from everyone elses. This is where it becomes hard, because if it is available a few those in that authority could loose securety of that infomation, ant there are some individuals that would want to get access.

I don’t know if this would work but ideas are worth investment and this is mine in these troubled and scary time.

thanks for reading

from me.
