Success? What is it?

When people look for success, many will look at successful people and then they look at how much they earn, like Bill Gates ($88.5 Billion) Mark Zuckerberg ($63.3 Billion) and then some more reasonable celebrities like Casey Neistat (approx $2.3 million). these people are definitely successful, but a price tag is not successful, so what is?

What Isn’t The Success?

Well money doesn’t matter but it definitely helps, because there are people who earn over and above a million but they are not successful because:

  1.  they are not happy
  2. they do they get into debt (which makes no sense)
  3. they loose relationships
  4. are always are at work
  5. they never do what they want to do(travel, spend time with the family, etc…

Among many other things…

What is a success?

Well, is success an end goal? or is it the journey? Is it money or what?

That is completely decided by you. getting a sense of contentment, doing what you love. That makes you successful. Being able to enjoy every day at work (not all the time some days come with different amounts of success and stress). Having what you do enable you to do the stuff that you really want to do, I.E travel, spend time with the family and anything else from the list you read above.

The reason people like Bill Gates, Mark Zuckerburg, and Casey Neistat are successful is that they did what they loved first and then when people noticed it the money came in. And guess what they are still doing what they love. Bill is changing the world and so is Mark, Casey is changing the internet as we know it, and all of them are on the move always traveling, and all of them are inseparable from their families.

But money is not and never will be what it is about with any of these people.  take the life story of Casey Neisat https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V6Y-ahQFQDA

He didn’t always have the skills and business acumen and likeability, he doesn’t even a high school diploma or any relevant qualifications (that I know of), he had it hard.

He was a high school dropout, he had a baby to provide for, his girlfriend left him and he had no money. Can it get any worse?

In 2015 he created a business called “Beme” and then sold it the end of the next year to CNN for $25million (this was the speculated number actual figures were never released but still to start an app and then sell the business for millions is mega impressive).

People like this do not do work. They do art. Art is not for the money it is appreciated by everyone and those that appreciate it invest and there is always pay off. They start doing what they love and as long as they keep their head, that will never end.

Best Wishes

London Bridge Incident

This is crazy so much has happened in the last month, we have had the Manchester bombing attack, a killing on Westminster Abby and now this.

This is so scary, why is this happening all at once. I am so happy that we have a fast and reliable police service in London, but the fact we have had so many security attacks in the UK dose show the strain of the British security.

Dose anyone have any ideas? we cannot rely on the responce team to deal with the aftermath. These incedents show we clearly do not have the forces trained in the correct way and we need to put more in security and have checks of people who are a serious threat.

What This Could Mean!

This could mean that private infomation can be held by the forces that need them without our permission, I mean we would have to give or they would take any and all infomation relevent to our lives. This may seem like an invation of public privicy, which it is, but i think we should be honest and we should have nouthing to hide and those that do will be found out.

I mean any thing suspicious in a criminal nature made registered on a database only or the eyes of those who need to see.

If this was Implamented.

If this was implamented we would need to have access to our personal data, but total restriction from everyone elses. This is where it becomes hard, because if it is available a few those in that authority could loose securety of that infomation, ant there are some individuals that would want to get access.

I don’t know if this would work but ideas are worth investment and this is mine in these troubled and scary time.

thanks for reading

Fitting In?

While I was reading yesterday on a bench on a wooden platform, I dropped my highlighter pen and it went straight through the platform. That was because it fitted in. then i had to struggle for about 5 minuets to fit my hand through and other thing to help move it out so it was free, and i was able to use it.

The Metaphor

I see most people fitting in (or trying to atleast) and once they have fitted in they are trapped, but they feel safe or “included” but whats the point. They are indeed just trapped.

What Happens Next

Well its how people arround you view you. If you are indeed just a highlighter, then those who are meant to care and can just get anouther, will probably just get anouther.

What about those who do care and do try to use a stick throuth a small partition to flick the highlighter in the right direction? Well, the reason they use this method is becuse of two reasons, 1. Because they care 2. Is because you have distanced yourself. So because they care you are goin to feel that the are being to pushy, repetitive, and darn well iritating, and because you have distanced yourself you , not probably, will not listen. The only person who can change you is, always has been and alway will be you.

What can you do

Well look at the people that are really trying to help, stop seeing them as irritating. Don’t do what they are actally say (unless it is solid gold) but look for what they are trying to say. They are trying to be nice and polite and the infomationn they are giving is because they care and they see a problem. So what they say will be covered in “pink fluffy wool” but shave it off and look at what theyare telling you, not what they are actualy saying.

Stop fitting in and be your own person.

Be somone who you want to follow and surly enough others will. Have your own ideas and innovate

All Yours

What I Want, Why I want It

I started this blog for many reasons, I want to put some, most or all on here because this is my blog, and that kind of makes sense.

I want to be a Writer/Blogger

Well to be honest I want what a Writer/Blogger will give me. I dont want the money, and this is shown by the fact the money isnt good but I love reading and I love learning, and what is the point of learning if you cant or wont tell people about it.

I want to Travel

This is what Writing will enable me to do. The money is rubbish but the cost of living everywhere (but the western, commercialized world) is fantastic and there are many of successful writers(I mean that they dont earn lots of money, but they get to do what they want to do) so if they can do it what is stopping me

I dont like Facebook

Every one is doing what everyone else is doing, and I dont like it, every one has facebook, twitter and intragram. I want to stand out. I want to make a difference. I am on my own with these thoughts and I want to do things my way, and if your reading this you should to.

these are not all the reasons but it is a start. I want to make a difference to my life, not to make a name, or money but be my own person.

Good night

I’ve Been Reading

I’ve been reading Seth Godins book “Linchpin” and it really has opened my mind to the entrepreneurial spirit. The idea of giving a gift, not just working or doing a job but making what you do “Art” is such a fantastic viepoint. I am a waiter/dishasher. I love my job, but I bought this book specificaly because I had lost the “go” to give my best in my work. Already I feel my overseer has seen a difference in my work, and I feel that I am contributing to the whole picture, in the work ethic and the customer service. I feel pride in my work. Well i always did, but i now know i am doing a good job.

thank you Seth
